Bang ropes
A bang rope , a string of firecrackers or a banger is one of the most effective ways of defending crops against wild animals. It is most often used by farmers in fields and orchards or by hunters from hunting clubs.
A bang rope is a braided jute or cotton rope and 8 or even 12 bang firecrackers glued into it so that they can explode at different, uneven time intervals so that the game does not get used to the noise. At the end of the rope there is a wire hook for hanging the pyrotechnic repeller . It is best to hang it in a plastic plumbing pipe with a lid on top. Then there is no fear that the rain will extinguish our pyrotechnic repellent. After lighting the rope, it smolders for 6 to 8 hours depending on the manufacturer and the number of firecrackers on it. The Chinese strings with 12 firecrackers make the most noise.
